Hayle Update (June 2010)

The ban on kitesurfing at Hayle (aka "the Bluff") has been lifted. There are restrictions with a permit system.

Get Involved

The Finding Sanctuary project is going to decide which bits of the SW coast are protected (which may not mean kitesurfing or other activities are banned from the chosen zones). But they want input from all water / coast / beach users. Rory from the KKC has given an overview of the main beaches used by kitesurfers in Cornwall (which spots, what times of year, how many people, frequency etc.)
BUT add your personal info for kitesurfing and anything else you do on the coast by going to
www.mczmapping.org.

Events

Don't forget, if you want to be kept updated on events etc by text, send your mobile number to treasurer@kernowkitesurfclub.co.uk.
